DataRecover is a fully local desktop application. We do not collect, upload, or store any of the following: scanned disk content, recovered file data, file preview content, disk partition information, file system structure. All scanning and recovery operations are completed on your local device — your data never leaves your computer.
DataRecover Free offers data recovery up to 100MB. Larger files require a ModelFlow Pro subscription. Subscription purchases are processed through Paddle — payment information is collected and processed directly by Paddle. We never access or store your payment card information. Activation verification sends only your account identifier and license status query to ModelFlow servers — no disk scan data is included.
DataRecover may check for updates on startup. This process sends only the application version number and OS information — no personal data or scan results are included. We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or telemetry systems.
DataRecover performs read-only operations on the source disk during recovery — it never modifies or overwrites original data. Recovered files are saved to a directory you specify. For optimal safety, we recommend saving recovered files to a different disk than the source.
DataRecover is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
